The word "Katsu" Which is an abberviated from "katsuretsu" is a transliteration of the English word "cutlet". Katsu is made by deep frying slices of meat coated in egg, flour, and panko bread crumbs.
I absolutely loved the pork tonkatsu plate! It’s surrounded with a perfect crunchy batter with a juicy pork cutlet on the inside. The dipping sauce was legit! Definitely can tell it’s homemade and had the perfect amount of sweetness and with a nice tang. Thanks for making my belly full and happy Donkey Yaki! Will def come by again!
I highly recommend this restaurant!!! Their dumplings, salad & chicken teriyaki was soooo delicious!! Cooked to perfection!!!! My entire family really enjoyed it!!!
The Takoyaki was great, very creamy in the middle the way I like. The teriyaki steak with white rice and salad hit the spot.
